5)Bono executively produced this album. What was it like to work with him?
There was actually three people involved in producing my album - Bono, Gavin Friday and Nellee Hooper. I’m actually great friends with Bono and Gavin and we hang out in Dublin all the time. We always talk about what we are doing and play some of the stuff we are working on so it was between us that thought it should be Nellee who should help produced it.
6)What is your new single, ‘Shame on you’ and when is it out?
It out June 18th and it’s basically about the waste of war. I read this book by Sebastian Fox called ‘Bird Song’ about World War I and obviously it’s very relevant today. It’s about all the things that soldiers miss out on when they die so young at war.
I didn't compromise with this record and feel confident
7)Are you nervous about the release?
I’m excited about it. I finished the album so I just want it to be out! I’m glad we didn’t comprise on anything and I feel confident. I’m not saying I am confident everyone is going to love it but I’m happy with my work.
8)Are you planning a tour?
I don’t have any plans at the moment but I think it would be good to tour on this record. So we will see. So far, I’m just doing promotions and acoustic performances.
