Portuguese transsexual, Nadia Almada stole the hearts of the British nation in 2004 when she won Big Brother 5 but since then she has struggled to remain in the public eye. She has released a number of fitness videos (one wearing stilettos), released a top-30 single ‘A little bit of action’ and appeared in Hollyoaks playing herself. However, after appearing on the Australian Big Brother and being recognised as being a transsexual straight away she has entered rehab for depression and now makes few TV appearances.
