
Fiesta in Seville – Semana Santa festival
Spain’s fourth largest city holds its annual Easter fiesta over two weeks and puts on a fantastic show of F lamenco dancing, sherry drinking and fireworks and carnival floats a-plenty. The celebrations can last around the clock and this is a great opportunity to see this increasingly popular destination at its best. Wander through the legendary orange tree-lined roads and see the open countryside or relax in the city centre with your sangria and tapas.

Belgium – The home of chocolate
What better way to enjoy your Easter than in the chocolate haven Belgium . The country produces 172,000 tons of chocolate per year and you can chose to buy from one of the 2,000 chocolate shops throughout the country. Chocolate enthusiasts can also enjoy chocolate tours, museums, testing and demonstrations.
…Or maybe you just fancy a good old pub crawl with Belgium ’s choice of 400 types of beer including chocolate beer, raspberry beer or lambic beer?

Parading around in New York
The New York Easter Parade offers an explosion of Easter madness with flamboyant costumes and head-gear and all the noise and entertainment you would expect from an American celebration. The parade takes to the streets along Fifth Avenue from 49 th to 57 th Streets and lasts all day.
To retreat from the madness and refuel you can relax in one of the cities many restaurants and cafés, who will be offering Special Easter brunches and dinners all day.

Tulips of Amsterdam
Ahh the tulips of Amsterdam … Amsterdam isn’t all coffee shops and saucy entertainment. April to May sees daffodils and tulips blooming through the canals and coffee shops, as spring is in full bloom! The world-renown Keukenhof gardens are located on a 70-acre estate near Amsterdam and make a great bike ride out of the city and pass the colourful flowered fields and windmill peppered hill tops. Then after the fresh air you can check out the first class museums and art exhibitions… or just get yourself down to one of the districts fantastic nightclubs.

Cultural Rome
Rome wasn’t built in a day and it certainly can’t be explored in one either. Rome boasts some mighty impressive architecture and is renowned for its passion for art and history. Rome is also home to the HQ of the Catholic Church which makes a trip there at Easter even more interesting as St.Peter’s Square fills up for the Pope’s Easter blessing which, regardless of your religion, is a must-see on your city break.
