Could Harvey have suffered a violent blow to the head recently? The ex-So Solid man only went and married the fittest chick from pop princesses Mis-teeq - and then ended up cheating on her with a Eurovision Song contest reject. Fool!
Still it's not all bleak for Alesha. After all, she's back on our radios, and most importantly, she's back on the market. In the words of the chirpy garage emcee, 'We’re luvvin’ it luvvin’ it luvvin it…!'

Was disbanding the pop group around (Mis-teeq) hard to do?
Yes! A lot of people think we’ve fallen out. We were not the best of friends anyway, but there was no reason to fall out. We’ll support each other in our choices and there’s still that respect. When I was in Mis-teeq I felt comfortable and secure. It wasn’t a decision made overnight – eight years of my life was with the girls and it was a risk as well. So there was a lot of hugging and tears…

Face transplants are now a reality! So if you had to have one, who’s face would you take?
Christina Milian – she’s very pretty she’s got a sweet face.

And so do you Alesha! So, being the stunner that you are, did you find that guys tried to pull you when Harvey was about?
They wouldn’t dare. If they did that would be so disrespectful. And the same goes for if a girl tried that and I was around. People just know don’t they, that we’re married? I have had guys walk past and make remarks and thought ‘that’s really cheeky’ so that’s happened but that’s about as far as it’s gone.

In the video for Pharrell’s ‘She Wants To Move’ you’re shaking your ass like a mad woman. Did that peeve Harvey off at the time?
He loved it! If your girl did that wouldn’t you?

Hmm, perhaps not if the dude was singing ‘Mr, your girl, she loves it!!’
Yeah but he didn’t write the words about me personally. Harvey was the most supportive person. Guy’s would be like ‘how can you let your girl do that’ and he’d say ‘what you mean let her, I don’t own her. I’m proud of her!’ I would never go out with anyone that was possessive or a jealous type, because in order to stay with someone you can’t be insecure…you’ve got to be confident in your relationship.

Fergie from Black Eyed Peas once pissed herself on stage: have you ever been so nervous you’ve done anything like that?
I’ve been so nervous going on stage before that I’ve had a nose bleed. It was when I first started out when we done our first ever show in Earls Court. My nose just started bleeding but luckily it didn’t go on the outfit because that would have been a disaster. Never fallen over on stage. My top's fallen off when I was on stage, but luckily I caught it.

Do you have any blokey habits or interests?
Yes I like to drink pints (any, but I love Stella), I love football. I watch Match of The Day and Soccer AM. I’m also a hustler around a pool table. I’m very competitive in that respect.

As an Arsenal fan how do you view the gunners current progress?
I’ll be honest with you, when there’s changes Arsenal it unsettles me. It takes me months to get over an Arsenal player leaving. I still haven’t gotten over Petit or Viera leaving or Bergkamp retiring! Of the new stars Flamini is great and Fabregas has turned out to be fantastic.
